During our work, we may ask you to complete a feedback form to capture your views on the quality of our work. Your personal information supplied on that  form, will not be shared with any 3rd parties but any comments and testimonials may be used in   promoting our services to others. We   do this as part of the performance of a contract entered into by you when   buying our services.

 

We may also email you several times after your enquiry in order to follow up on your interest and ensure that we have answered it to your satisfaction. We will do this based on our legitimate interest in providing accurate information prior to a sale and you can unsubscribe using the link in any of our communications or register your desire for us to cease using your information in this way at any time.

WHERE DO WE PROCESS DATA?

We process data at our registered offices at 11 Tasmania Square, Marton, Middlesbrough, TS7 8NS  and (under contract) at the sites of data processors and third parties appointed by us.  Some of these processors may be outside the EEA.


Our customer and prospect database is hosted in a product called “Hubspot” which is located within the USA. 


We apply UK data protection law to our processing and require contracts with any processors which also require them to maintain the same level of commitment to the security and privacy of your personal data as we do.


HOW DO WE PROCESS DATA?

Our database (“Hubspot”) uses some advanced functionality to send communications to you by email when you complete one of our forms, including reminders about upcoming services and offers you have registered for.


Any other processing that we undertake is performed manually and we use no other automation which will make decisions which materially affect you based up the information you have given us.

  

HOW DO WE KEEP DATA SECURE?

All information you provide to us is captured using a secure encrypted form which feeds that information directly into our database. This information is only accessible by DMH Plumbing and Heating, or where necessary, by our partners for billing or administrative purposes.

We take appropriate steps to maintain all personal data in a secure environment to prevent unauthorised use.  Our processors are bound by contract to do the same.

Where technically possible, we utilise encryption in all our systems and devices, and only share information that is necessary for a particular purpose

Where we process data as part of providing a service to you, we will retain that data for the duration of providing that service to you, and up to 3 years after this.
